The Office of the HRDC, Panjab University has shifted to the following Venue: First Floor, Block-III, South Campus, Panjab University, Sector-25, Chandigarh-160014 (India).

Human Resource Development Centre, Panjab University, Chandigarh established in October 1987, is one of the 66 such colleges set up by the University Grants Commission (UGC) to provide in-service training to college and university lecturers. According to the UGC proposal, this Centre offers different types of in-service training programmes for:-

Faculty Members:

Gurudakshata (Faculty Induction Programme)
For newly appointed teachers within one year of their joining service.
Refresher Course
for teachers having more than 2 years of teaching experience. Refresher Courses are organized in specific disciplines.
Short Term Course/Faculty Development Programme
STC/FDP for focussed competency development.
